🏁 You can now sync and translate meta values (including ACF, and SEO metadata) in Gato AI Translations for Polylang
An important new feature has been added to Gato AI Translations for Polylang:
Sync and translate meta values!
In this video, the matching meta entries in the origin post in English are synchronized/translated, and added as meta to the translation post in Spanish:
Translate data from more plugins
The number of plugins you can now translate data from has increased substantially.
Basically, any plugin that stores its data via meta fields, can now be translated.
Translate ACF fields
Custom fields managed via the popular Advanced Custom Fields plugin are also supported.
Simply define the custom field names in the configuration, and the corresponding entries will be synced/translated.
Translate SEO metadata
Any SEO plugin that stores its data as metadata can now be translated.
For instance, If you use Yoast SEO, provide the corresponding meta fields (_yoast_wpseo_metadesc, _yoast_wpseo_focuskw, etc) to the meta configuration, to have the SEO metadata translated.
Configuring meta keys to sync/translate
In the Settings, there is a new Meta Configuration tab, where we can define the meta keys to copy and translate, for all entities (custom posts and media, and tags and categories).
Each meta key can be defined via its name, or using a regex:
